Airbourne are among the newly confirmed bands for this year’s Nova Rock festival, set to take place on June 11-13, 2010 on the Pannonia Fields in Burgenland, the easternmost federal state of Austria (near Nickelsdorf and the Hungarian and Slovak borders).

Sadly, earlier this week Warrnambool’s historic Criterion Hotel, the pub where Airbourne formed, played their first gig and rehearsed ‘No Guts. No Glory.’ was severely damaged by fire. Airbourne have reluctantly had to postpone their shows in Barcelona and Bilbao, Spain due to illness. Joel is suffering from acute pharyngitis together with a fever. The dates have been re-scheduled to 17th April (Bilbao) and 18th April (Barcelona).
Hope you get well soon Joel, here’s to a speedy recovery!
Airbourne are confirmed to play the Hellfest mainstage on Saturday 19th June, they join a line-up which includes Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Saxon and Kiss. The festival takes place over the weekend of 18th to 20th June in Clisson, France.

Airbourne have been confirmed to be appearing at this year’s Getaway Rock festival, which is set to take place on the 8th to 10th of July 2010 in Gävle, Sweden. The Boys will be sharing the stage with the likes of Motorhead, Megadeth, The Quireboys and many more.
